About the Painting The early A-4s did not have nose wheel steering and a flight deck crewman would have to line up the aircraft on the catapult with the use of a long steering bar attached to the nose wheel. This is a phenominal pencil drawing that captures the feel of the chaos on the flight deck of a carrier during the launching of aircraft. Prints and gold etchings also available. |
